About Us
Stacy and Angie met eight years ago while working in Seattle ad agencies. They've produced award-winning campaigns for local, national, and international advertisers that have included everything from the simplest of ads to 3-D billboards and custom-painted Harleys. In other words, they know how to get things done.
When Angie and Stacy each had their first child, they realized that there was something missing. Sure, they could go to a big box store and get cheap onesies, or they could pay $30 and get something cute written on a t-shirt; but they thought there had to be something better. Something between soulless mass production and precious, overpriced clothes for people with more money than taste. So they talked to some of the artists they'd gotten to know over the years and asked them if they'd be interested in making some designs for children's clothes. 
 The idea was simple: Unique designs, reasonable prices, and fair labor. Response from the artists was incredible, so now Stacy and Angie take the experience they gained in the advertising world, and put it to use making something a little more, well, world-friendly. Spark! is all about igniting the creative spirit that lives in us all. We're about participation, community, and making sure that all those babies out there are happy, active, and, yes, well dressed. And that's the story up to this point. Where we go from here is anyone's guess. But that's part of the fun, isn't it? In a small way, we're out to make a better world. One foot in front of the other. Baby steps. | ||
